I was invited for a bloggers meet/tasting session by the awesome blogger Jo (@soul_wayfarer). Joory and Cadi is opened recently, few months ago and they’re located in Dubai Health Care City. They serve Arabic, Italian, Fast food, etc
Joory and Cadi is more popular for their beverages! They had some refreshing beverages for us ready like, the watermelon mint, the classic lemon mint, raspberry ice tea and fresh orange juice! My favourite out of all was their Lemon Mint – A Must Try!
On Left – Lemon Mint – On Right – Watermelon Mint (Hand Model – @tastentellme)
Now lets get to the yummy food. Shall we? 😀 So we were served some good looking and tasting food! Started with their appetizers,
Mozzarella Sticks – They were served hot right out of the pan! You can never go wrong with cheese and for sure, they also dint! The sticks were served with ketchup. A Must Try!
Garlic Bread with Cheese – I’m sure we all are sucker for garlic bread with cheese, aren’t we? 😛 I like my garlic bread soft at the bottom and not too hard/crunchy. This garlic bread had the right amount of garlic which dint over power the cheese, and also had lots of cheese and a pinch of oregano!
Garlic Bread with Cheese.
Soups – Broccoli Soup – This was hands down the best broccoli soup I have had in a very long time, so so creamy and cheesy! Every slurp you take there is a broccoli piece, so it’s healthy to yeah? 😛 I did have two bowls of soup, made my mumma proud, haha 😛 – A Must Must Must Try!!!
Salads – We were served with two salads.
Avocado Salad – The avocado salad was basically guacamole with lots of other fresh veggies like corn, tomatoes, onion, cucumber and some olives! Next time you’ve these veggies at home and don’t know what to do? cut them and make a fresh bowl of avo salad 😀
But the Greek Salad was the winner for me, you ask me why? Haah, because the cheese! 😛 Haha no no, I’m just kidding! (Maybe :P) I liked the Greek Salad because I like my salad crunchy! The veggies in the salad were lettuce, red bell peppers, black olives, tomatoes and some, okay not some lot of feta cheese 😛 which was drizzled with some olive oil and some salad seasoning and you’re done! Aah tasstyy!! 😀 – A must Try!
Mains – Pasta – We had 3 pasta dishes, 1 vegetarian and 2 non vegetarian.
Top – Spaghetti Bolognese , Left – Fettuccine with Mushroom and Chicken, Down – Bina Arabiata, Right – Greek Salad
Bina Arabiatta – The presentation was beautiful no doubt, but it lacked a little flavor to the dish, probably a little more spice would do good! 😀
Let’s end our mains with my main ❤ Pizza ❤
Vegetarian Pizza – The pizza are cooked in a wood fire oven right in front of you in their kitchen! Good tasting pizza with, thin crust, ample amount of sauce, generous amount of fresh veggies and topped with lots of cheese.
Let’s finish this with their lip smacking desserts and freak shakes,
Oreo Cheesecake – The cheesecake was a little creamy than I expected, but the oreo base/tart was to die for!!
The best dessert of the afternoon, the warm/hot chocolate molten cake, OH MY GOD!! that was soo good, goey and chocolatey from the inside and soft from the outside and the cake was topped with some vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and powdered sugar! A Must try in their Menu!!!
Freakshakes – Smores Freak Shake was my favorite, thick, caramely and right amount of sweetness. The Coffee Freak shake a disappoint though it looked good, it was a disappointment because I was expecting for some chocolate shake but it ended up to be coffee. But the presentation of both the shakes is beautiful!!
We also met the beautiful owner of the restaurant and chatted with her also asked her few questions regarding the restaurant. One main question we all wanted to know was what did “Joory and Cadi” mean, she told, “Joory and Cadi” is other name to Roses/Flowers, and she also added the name is pretty special to her. 😀
I really loved the ambience of the eatery because it’s simple but very creative with the quotes on the wall and also they have a small book corner where you can read books or if you ain’t into books then you can watch your food being prepared, as they have an open kitchen! (they also have wifi, so you can snapchat or insta story your awesome food! :P) The staff is really lovely and their Manager Shane is a sweetheart! Surely visiting them soon with few of my friends!! 😀
Also, there is a free parking, so don’t park in the paid parking, my fellow blogger friends made that mistake 😛
Would like to add that the portion of food in the pictures above is for a group of bloggers, so when you visit, they may vary. 🙂
That’s it from my side for today. Hope you enjoy 😀 See you all soon with another blog 😀 Happy Eating 😀
